I wear a lot of hats. I’ve run my Jewelry Business, The Ordinary Co since 2014, content create at @luxmondi and also do freelance social media management and photography on the side!

What are your days like as an entrepreneur?
The best parts are how every day and every week are different and keep me on my toes. Being an Entrepreneur means you have the ultimate flexibility, but it also means you have to be accountable to yourself to get the work done. I make it a point to fill up my schedule with a variety of work across all the work that I handle, be it attending fashion and lifestyle events, preparing for new collection launches, managing people and regular things like emailing and admin that every job entails.

Is there a particular talent or strength you had that helped you in your life and/or business?
I’ve always been a jack of all trades and having a mix of both creative skills (such as photography, video editing, graphic designing) and business skills (insights, strategy and operation) helps a lot when you run a small business!

What is your personal legend?
I’ve always hoped to inspire and create. Beauty is my weakness and I love to share great experiences and tips one can pursue to make life a little more interesting and also in a manner that’s still accessible and relatable.

What is one quote that you live by?
“If we do not find anything very pleasant, at least we find something new” - Voltaire.

What is the one piece of advice you would have for young women when it comes to beauty?
Everyone is beautiful naturally, but the pursuit of beauty also takes work, commitment and willpower. Be it having a healthy diet and lifestyle that affects how our skin ages in the long run or a regular skincare routine to prevent sun damage and fine lines from forming, it’s the small everyday pieces of effort that we put in that pay off down the road.

What do you like about L/Chemy?
I like that the formulations are fuss-free, and the ingredients are minimal but highly complex. I appreciate how the brand also upholds values of being very mindful about its packaging without having any embellishments with product inserts or boxes while being almost 100% recyclable.

What is the L/Chemy product that you can’t do without? Why do you like it?
The lotions are to die for! The texture and lightness are so easy to wear, especially in this humid weather. And the scents are also incredibly subtle and uplifting. Just a little pump spreads so easily and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky.
